- Custom Object Integration: We built a custom object named “Parts” to represent the individual components being manufactured. The “Work Orders” object was designed to track these parts throughout the production cycle.
- Real-Time Updates: Our code regularly checks the “Parts Available” field on each Work Order. This field is updated multiple times a day to reflect the current number of parts ready for purchase.
- Automated Status Updates: When the “Parts Available” matches the “Number of Associated Parts” (another custom field), our code automatically updates the Work Order status to “Completed.” This instant notification ensures that the client knows when all parts are produced and ready for shipment.
